Bruce E. Agneberg MD, is Chief Medical Officer of HospiceCare, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Agneberg is a member of the original Abundant Life Design Team and contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum.
Sister M. Peter Lillian Di Maria, O. Carm., BA, LNHA, has been in the continuing care ministry for 30 years and is the director of the Avila Institute of Gerontology in Germantown, New York.
Richard Groves, JCL, MA, MDIV, is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Sacred Art of Living Center in Bend, Oregon and and co-author of The American Book of Living & Dying: Lessons in Healing Spiritual Pain. Richard Groves is a member of the original Abundant Life Design Team and contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum.
Antoinette Horn, MBA, LNHA, is Vice President of Operations for Catholic Community Connection in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a Healthcare Administrator with 25 years experience in acute and long-term care ministry. Antoinette facilitates collaborative work among healthcare professionals, the research community, and academia. She is also a certified instructor in Integral Tai Chi and Qigong. She is a member of the original Abundant Life Design Team and edited the Abundant Life Teacher’s Manual for Wellness Education. Antoinette teaches Abundant Life education and is co-director of Abundant Life, Care for the body, mind, and spirit™.
Roger Jahnke, OMD, is the CEO of Health Action, a health promotion and wellness training and research institute in Santa Barbara, California, specializing in program design and training of health coaches and mind-body practice leaders. Dr Jahnke is the author of numerous books, including The Healer Within,which is a classic in the wellness field and utilized in many wellness programs internationally. Roger is a member of the original Abundant Life Design Team and contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum.
Carol Ann Killoran, D.Min. LPCC, is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis. She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and Psychotherapy and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. She is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors as well as clinically trained in Gestalt Therapy. Dr. Killoran’s holistic approach to Pastoral Care and Counseling has contributed to positive revisions of the Abundant Life Curriculum.
Betsy KnestrickBetsy Knestrick, BA, CPM, is a Certified Lay Ecclesial Minister in the Diocese of Cleveland. Betsy has extensive experience in older adult, volunteer and bereavement ministries and works with people in need in the inner city of Cleveland. Betsy provides support to Abundant Life participants.
Pamela Maidens, MA, CPM, is Director of Mission Education and Spiritual Development for Catholic Community Connection in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a certified Pastoral Minister in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and a nationally certified graduate of the Sacred Art of Dying program. Pamela co-produced the Abundant Life Teacher’s Manual for Wellness Education and co designed the Abundant Life Wellness Awareness Tool. She is a member of the original Abundant Life Design Team, teaches Abundant Life education, and is co-director of Abundant Life, Care for the body, mind, and spirit™.
Gail Michalski M.Ed, LPC, LSW, CVE, LICDC, is a State of Ohio licensed counselor, social worker, and independent chemical dependency counselor. She is a nationally certified vocational evaluator and internationally certified clinical supervisor. Gail has 25 years experience in providing mental health, substance abuse, adjustment to disability, and career counseling services. Gail contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum and she provides support to participants of the education program.
Christina M. Puchalski, MD, FACP, is Associate Professor, Departments of Medicine and Health Care Sciences at The George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. Her work fosters compassionate systems of care for patients and their families through research and the evaluation of education programs and the role of spirituality in healthcare. She is the author of A Time for Listening and Caring: Spirituality and the Care of the Chronically Ill and Dying. She is also a member of The Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. Dr. Puchalski contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum.
Natalie Kertes Weaver, PhD, is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Humanities program at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Dr. Weaver contributed to the Abundant Life curriculum and assisted in the development of the Abundant Life Teacher’s Manual.
