I - nvite Wellness
F – eel the Energy
E – xperience Peace
Purpose: Recharge your body, mind, and spirit as you promote wellness and group spirit.
Time: 5 minutes
Instructions: Stand in an open space where you can move freely.
Stand in a comfortable position with your arms at your sides and knees relaxed.
Take a deep breath and exhale slowly as you relax.
First Letter—Look Up
- Breathe in LIFE
To Look Up we will breathe a Gathering Breath.
- Inhale and move your hands outward and upward as if you are scooping something. Visualize that you are gathering healing energy from around you, from the universe, from heaven.
- Exhale bringing your hands slowly down, palms facing you, in front of your face, your chest, your abdomen. Repeat. Be mindful of your thoughts and experience your senses: sight, touch, smell, and hearing.
Second Letter—Invite Wellness
- Breathe in LIFE
To Invite Wellness we will Massage our Ears.
- Feel the sensations as you massage your ears, sending healing energy to your body.
- Feel the joy that comes from playfulness and the freedom to have fun.
Third Letter—Feel the Energy
- Breathe in LIFE
To Feel the Energy we will practice Spontaneous Movement.
- Body movement is a powerful healing method. Feel the self-healing circulating within you.
- Feel the energy that flows around you. Share your positive energy with others.
Fourth Letter—Experience Peace
- Breathe in LIFE
To Experience Peace we take a Sigh of Relief.
- A Sigh of Relief is one the most powerful self-healing tools that we have.
- Be mindful of your spirit and all that you are thankful for, all that gives you hope.
- In solitude, open your thoughts to the possibilities of a greater presence within you.
